Technical information recorded by the hosting service includes server logs, browser type, device type and page requests. It is used to keep the site available and to detect abuse. It is not used to profile visitors.

Information sent to WATAG is used to answer the message, to route the message to the right subject, and to send subscription updates when a person has asked for them. Information is not sold. Information is not shared with third parties for marketing.

Small files may be stored by the browser to keep a session working and to record basic preferences. A person may refuse cookies through browser settings. Refusing cookies may affect some parts of the site.

Messages and subscription records are kept only as long as needed to answer them and to maintain the record of the exchange. A person may ask for their information to be removed by writing to info@watag.com.ng. A request is answered within a reasonable time.

A person may ask what information WATAG holds about them, may ask for it to be corrected, and may ask for it to be removed. Requests can be sent to info@watag.com.ng. WATAG answers each request and states what was done.
